I am extremely excited for the new season of Dexter but this trailer leaves me disappointed. I wanted some actually scenes and words to be spoken, not just out of context clips. What I’ve found Dexter producers are notorious for is editing footage together to make it look like Debra will find out about Dexter’s Dark ways but it turns out when you watch the episode she is just furious about to cry because they made her coffee wrong. I think I am done watching anything related to Dexter until the season starts on October 2nd.
NBC is set to announce the hire, adding a new well-known actor to the ensemble series that saw the departure of its biggest star, Steve Carell, this season, and will also say goodbye to recurring performer Kathy Bates as well. Bates played the company’s CEO last season, though Spader’s character is expected to have a greater presence on the show.
Not really sure how I feel about this. I think James Spader did a good job when he was on the show but I’m not sure anyone can hold a candle to what Steve Carell did with the character Michael G. Scott. I think The Office has run to long and needs to start planning its exit strategy before it officially becomes a show that has over stayed its welcome.
Wow this is genius. I never thought about Arrested Development like this. It actually makes a lot of sense. Looks like I’m going to have to go through the entire series again. If you haven’t seen an Arrested Development episode, you should slap yourself for being so stupid. By the way, that’s why it failed. It’s because America is stupid.
The filming of the new season begins very soon and we have the first news about new characters.
Jamie – Latina, Female – Grad School Student
Mike – New Homicide Detective
Louis – Computer Genius and will work with Masuka.via: dextergr
Those this information is not ground breaking but it is great to see Showtime back at work on Dexter. I am a little skeptical of how good this season is going to be as season 5 fell short of my high exceptions, so I won’t be building this season up as much as I did with last years.
Side Note: I’ve been reading the Dexter books which the series is based off of and they are totally different. There are side stories that are maintaned from the book to the small screen but the major plot lines and character arcs are hugely different. I recommend reading the books, it is interesting to compare the different story lines and character development from the book to the show. I am glad the show went the direction it did, I am not trying to take anything away from the books because I think they are well done however I don’t think they would have translated very well verbatim to TV.
I’ll definitely be posting about any new developments on season 6 of Dexter.
Did you watch The Office? It was great. Did anyone notice the shot of the award replacing the World’s Greatest Boss mug? It was the same exact shot at the end of the opening credits for the past 7 seasons or just about the same exact shot. Does this mean that award was never on his desk for the entire series? Am I the only one who gets this? Yeah I probably am.
Here’s some sssssmokin’ casting news: Jim Carrey will pop up in the season finale of The Office, EW has learned.
Carrey will guest star as someone who interviews for the management post that is being vacated by Michael Scott (the departing Steve Carell)—and seemingly handed over to Deangelo Vickers (Will Ferrell).
Carrey won’t be the only celebrity vying for the job; Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, James Spader, Ray Romano, and Catherine Tate also play potential replacements in the hourlong episode, which airs May 19. An NBC spokesperson would not comment.

I absolutely love what The Office is doing to send Steven Carell on his way but damn I would love for one of these superstars to be on there for the next 3 or 12 seasons. I would put everything aside, sit down and watch every episode if Ricky Gervais, Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey or Will Arnett was the boss. If Will Arnett pulled the boss from Arrested Development I’m sure you would be sold too.
NBC announced today that it will offer extended versions of Steve Carell’s final episode of “The Office” as well as for “Parks and Recreation” on Thursday, April 28. “The Office” will see Carell off in an episode that night from 9:00 -9:50 p.m. (ET) and will continue with “Parks and Recreation” from 9:50 -10:30 p.m. (ET).
There is still no word on who will replace Steve Carell as Michael Gary Scott but Will Ferrell will join the show for a 4 episode arc, which is bound to be hilarious. I read that Will Arnett and Ricky Gervais are scheduled to appear in the May 19th season finale so maybe they will replace him. However the best idea I have read on the internet for a replacement is David Cross. I don’t think anyone can replace Steve Carell on The Office but David Cross would definitely make for a grade A replacement.
Am I the only one who is actually looking for to this show. Be honest, you use to watch “Whose Line Is It Anyways?” I couldn’t get enough of that show and now that Drew Carey lost about 200 pounds I can’t wait to watch this new one. Actually I have no idea why Drew loosing a lot of weight would make me want to watch this. It really has nothing to do with that. Honestly.
